Department of Industrial Works (DIW) published a notification regarding the test methods of soil and groundwater in industrial areas B.E. 2563 (2020). This publication refers to 7(1) and (2) items from the Notification of Ministry of Industry (B.E. 2559(2016)): Criteria on contamination in soil and groundwater, the examination of soil and groundwater quality, information including making the report of the result of soil and groundwater quality examination, which prescribes soil and groundwater contamination standard.

To widen the test methods of soil and groundwater in industrial areas, DIW agrees with the following test methods

  1. Soil: Test Method of ASTM International
  2. Groundwater: Test Methods of Evaluating Solid Waste, Physical/Chemical Methods (SW-846) from United States Environmental Protection Agency
