Green & Blue Planet Solutions Co., Ltd. (GBP) participated in the ASEAN-Japan Environment week, in commemoration of their 50th anniversary, held at the National Convention Center in Vientiane, Laos between the 22nd to 24th of August. The event was co-organised by the Ministry of Environment in Japan (MOEJ), Lao Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), and ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC).
The aim was to promote Japan’s initiatives and technologies in the field of environment, to enhance international environmental cooperation, and to foster the adoption and dissemination of environmental infrastructure contributing to environmental improvement and sustainable development in developing countries.
The event consisted of Business matchings in an exhibition hall and Business presentations, together with various seminars on Plastic Management in Laos, Development of Policy and Mechanisms of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the ASEAN region, Improvement of the Water Environment in Asia, SDGs Actions in ASEAN and Japan, and more.
Several ministers, from Japan and the ASEAN countries, also attended the event and visited the booths in the exhibition hall.
GBP was able to attend as one of the exhibiting companies, as well as presenting our business to the ministers during a closed meeting, and to the other companies and visitors that participated in the event. Towards the end of the event, a minister of MOEJ, Mr. Akihiro Nishimura, visited our booth to receive a more personal introduction to the company.
