Background
Green and Blue Planet Solutions Co., Ltd. (GBP) was commissioned by the office supplies manufacturing company to perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) or Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) on a packaging factory located in Hanoi, Vietnam. The client deemed to merge and acquire the local Vietnamese factory and carried out the ESA as a part of their due diligence process. Our Approach
Our GBP consultants conducted an on-site assessment at the packaging factory to observe and understand environmental management practice at the area of production including all facilities supporting the workers in the factory. During the site survey, GBP also examined about the factory’s environmental reports, relevant licenses and regulatory compliance. The assessment was deliberately analyzed and commercially focused enabling our client to oversee the uncertainties and make a rational decision within the challenging timeframe of due diligence process.
